BMS (Battery Management System) is designed to monitor the status of batteries, control the charging/discharging process, etc. Two 18650 batteries can be connected to the HX-2S-D20 charge-discharge controller module at the same time. The module has short-circuit, overcharge, and over-discharge protection. One of the charge controller’s functions is to turn off the power supply to the batteries when at least one battery reaches its maximum capacity.

This BMS controller is designed for more than 30,000 hours of operation. The maximum allowable current is 20 A. If the maximum permissible supply voltage value is exceeded, the charge controller enters “protection” mode.

To restore the module, either reapply voltage to the BMS board’s input or wait until the charge controller automatically disables protection. The module receives power from an external source. The module’s voltage range is 7.4 to 8.4 V. A step-up voltage converter with a current limiter can be used to charge. Please note this module is not a charger.
